Nominator's project description

Professor Luntz is honoured for his oustanding contributions in the field of gas surface interaction using molecular beam techiques and quantum state resolved laser spectroscopy. His work has led to a deteiled microscopic understanding of the dynamics of charge and energy transfer in molecular processes at surfaces, which are of fundamental importance for catalysis.
